Perplexity
Design analysis
This shows the desktop version of Perplexity for the week of 2026-09-28, before scrolling. A sidebar on the left takes up about a fifth of the screen width. The message box is the largest item on the screen. The outline of the message box is hard to see against the dark background. The heading above it asks, "What do you want to know?" Below the message box, a card invites you to try a feature called Computer. The section labels in the sidebar are dimmer than a common accessibility guideline recommends. There is no note saying it can make mistakes.
